Rx drug pricing legislation - p4adnow"s goal is to help achieve policy reforms at the federal and state levels that will lower drug prices. We do our work by collecting and amplifying patient stories, and by training and deploying Patients and advocates. Our federal and state work includes organizing letter writing campaigns to a patient'Patients's elected representatives, arranging meetings with the patient'Patients's elected officials, running advertisements encouraging bipartisan action to lower drug prices, and briefing and preparing background materials for advocates who have been invited to testify at congressional hearings. We have built a community of more than 500,000 Patients and allies who are struggling under skyrocketing prescription drug prices and want to fix our broken system.
General program - Patients for Affordable Drugs Now works at the community, state, and federal levels to mobilize Patients to support legislation to lower drug prices. It also engages in a limited number of electoral campaigns to elevate the issue of high drug prices in political debate.
