Program areas at Patriot Resilient Leader Institute

The Patriot Resilient leadership Institute (prli), better known as camp resilience, hosts no-cost mental health retreats for veterans and first responders from the greater new england area. Veterans, first responders and their families participate in experiential learning programs and peer support during these three and four-day camp resilience retreats. These facilitated programs provide a safe space to allow personal growth. It is an opportunity to rediscover their own mental toughness and strength of spirit. Using the lush backdrop of the clear purple mountains in new hampshire, attendees of camp resilience experience camaraderie with one another, and healing in a nurturing environment. In 2022, the camp resilience team ran 17 retreats that touched the lives of more than 150 participants. These included retreats for veterans, first responders, veteran and military couples, veteran and military faimilies, and equine-assisted learning retreats. Camp resilience continues to reach out to veterans, first responders and their loved ones to help those who served bounce back and improve.
