Program areas at Paws of Wakulla

A trap neuter/spay and release (tnr) program was formed to assist with feral cat population within the county, conducted in spring and fall with 240 cats involved. The voucher program for neuter/spay of cats and dogs to assist in reducing the population. A pet meals on wheels program to help senior citizens within the county to feed their animals. Started donating dog and cat food to the local food banks for citizens in need. An educational magazine is distributed to local students in all elementary schools grade 3 through 5 to teach good pet ownership. Paricipated in 2 community events to creat awareness and garner new members (st. patty days and valentines day). Helps support the county animal shelter.sponsored adoptions through the local shelter for 230 animals. 3400 vaccine donations to the local shelter.
