Program areas at Peace Gospel International
India: Construction continued on our India Technical College which upon completion will provide scholarship seats for our orphan graduates while employing instructors and support staff. Provided care nutrition back to school supplies and education scholarships to orphans in foster care. Operated 3 India Children's Hope Centers which provided 115 at-risk students with school supplies tutoring and fresh-cooked meals after school. Provided 13 orphans with college scholarships. Emergency medical support for several orphans who needed hospitalization and medical attention. Provided funds for several pending urgent infrastructure needs in our India program. Provided business grant to orphan in our program to open his own small business.
Cebu: Completed work on expanding and renovating Cebu girls home kitchen; continued renovation of living quarters and study areas including a new roof. Cebu girls home provided complete residential care to the girls who live there: an accredited education daily access to purified water three nutritious meals a day medical care and all hygiene and clothing needs. Cebu women's trade school and small business program for at-risk women enrolled 9 women. Cebu main campus farmland harvested raised fish eggs bananas coconuts hens pigs and goats. Cebu Children's Hope Center provided 44 at-risk students with new shoes and school uniforms school supplies tutoring and fresh-cooked meals. Christmas party held at end of year for both children enrolled in Hope Center and children in local community- games a fresh cooked meal and Christmas gifts were given to all participants. VBS-style community outreach to 686 local at-risk children provided nutrition support.
Uganda: Continued to operate two schools: one accredited boarding high school and one rural Mairinya primary school which together served a total of 1,024 students. 61 scholarships were provided to orphans to attend our high school. A new school building and renovations were completed at our Uganda primary school. Operated girls orphan home which provided complete residential care for 10 orphan girls: an accredited education daily access to purified water three nutritious meals a day medical care and all hygiene and clothing needs. Uganda main campus farmland harvested raised over 40 tons of food for our students daily meals. Rapha medical clinic on main campus served high school students and local community. Purchased the 0.75-acre land on which our Uganda girls home sits previously a rental adjacent to our primary school campus. 57 women were enrolled in our Uganda trade school. Major vehicle repairs for our Uganda team were completed.
