Pil envisions a world where the path towards liberation Is led by the people most impacted by issues of social injustice. A world transformed through their stories of solidarity, collective power and care in practice. Pils impact campaigns help movements use documentary films as tools to build power and capacity. Pil partners with women-identified and gender expansive filmmakers and organizers across physical and digital spaces to facilitate screenings, create educational resources, grow digital audiences, and build coalitions around the globe. Pil advocates for meaningful and equitable representation and compensation for women-identified and gender expansive movement leaders in the public and private spheres. Pil create connections between these leaders across various movements and audiences around the globe. Pil shares their campaign learnings, skills, and resources with filmmakers and other impact producers in workshops and trainings, as part of their commitment to strengthening the storytelling for social change community.
