Program areas at PIDS

Membership services - pids provides various services for the benefit of its members, such as educational programs and writing letters of support or opposition to legislation affecting children. They also collaborate with other medical organizations and keep members informed with frequent news and immunization updates. They also provide fellowship resources and a database of research funding sources.
Conferences, meetings and educational programs - we provide networking opportunities, research forums and educational/career advancement opportunities for participants & attendees. The annual st. jude/pids conference focuses on areas related to Infectious Diseases, microbiology, transplant id, immunocompromised hosts & global health. The conference also has a series of career development workshops, and the opportunity for attendees to present their original research to colleagues in Pediatric Infectious Diseases. The pas symposium is also presented annually & shares the latest academic & research in Pediatric Infectious Diseases. Prepid is a comprehensive review & update of Pediatric Infectious Diseases for general pediatricians & Pediatric Infectious disease physicians preparing for the certifying board exam.
Publications - the journal of Pediatric Infectious Diseases (jpids) is issued monthly and is a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal directed towards physicians and other healthcare professionals who manage children with Infectious Diseases. The journal is a high-quality source of original research articles, clinical trial reports, guidelines, and topical reviews, with particular attention to the interests and needs of the global Pediatric Infectious diseasescommunities.
