The gar hall provides an opportunity for the surrounding community to experience live performances in a historical setting from the late 19th century. The gar hall has been restored and preserved to is historical context and performances are conducted in much the same hall that was used in historical times. In addition, historical lectures and other events are conducted at the hall.

Returning to the area from the civil war. The hall has
Been focal point of the community for social gatherings
And community events, including performances and lectures.
Today the hall still provides those same activities, of a
Nature that preserves the historic culture of both the
Purpose of the hall and the historic times in which it has
Operated. Admission fees are charged to many of the
Events.
