Program areas at Peninsula Girls Chorus
Founded in January 1994, the Peninsula Girls Chorus has evolved from an organization serving just 11 girls into a 220-member premiere arts education and performance center that commissions world class composers, participates in prestigious international music festivals, provides a valuable resource to our community through assorted outreach performances, and makes a qualitative difference in the lives of our young choristers. The Peninsula Girls Chorus provides San Francisco Bay Area girls with an accelerated music education and performance program not found in the public or private school system. It is also where important mentoring lessons are learned. Younger girls learn from older girls (by example and directive) and see just what it takes to succeed. These lessons are learned, and in turn passed on to the next group of incoming singers. We teach music, and in the process our girls

These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.Nationwide, only 1 in 250 (less than half of 1%) Award recipients qualified as Four-Time Award Winners. Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The USCA Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties.

The Peninsula Girls Chorus thrills audiences with its clarity and precision and with the exuberance and vitality of its performances.For the tenth consecutive year, Peninsula Girls Chorus has been selected for the Best of Burlingame Award in the Musicians category by the U.S. Commerce Association. The USCA Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business
