Program areas at Pennsylvania Bar Association
Pba offers members access to products and services that are designed to help them better manage their practices and provide some of the basic elements needed to operate a business. These benefits range from group insurance products and management consulting services to online legal research and court opinions.during the 2023 year, the Association had 5,315 non-paying members and 14,623 paying members.
Pba provides continuing legal education (cle) to lawyers that are timely and of the highest quality for lawyers in every area of practice and at every level of experience. These cle opportunities include live programming, webcasts, webinars, on-demand and simulcasts.the pba also produces a number of meetings and educational conferences for members each year. These range from meetings of sections and committees that provide education and updates in specific areas of law to meetings of pba governing bodies where Association policies are developed on topics from those impacting members' practices to improving the law for the citizens of Pennsylvania.
The pba provides members with several award winning publications and other information resources to help them stay informed of developments and trends in the law that affect their practices. The publications include a biweekly newspaper, a biweekly e-newsletter, a bimonthly magazine, and a scholarly publication that is produced on a quarterly basis.
