Program areas at Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences
The College is a private, co-educational, middle states-accredited, four-year College offering a variety of associate, baccalaureate and graduate degree programs, as well as certificate programs in healthcare. A select group of approximately 1,800 students study with faculty who are experts in their specialty areas. Pa College is the educational arm of the penn medicine/lancaster general Health system. The clinical facilities of the hospital enrich the learning environment for students. Learnng at the College occurs in an interactive atmosphere that encourages and provides opportunities for self-direction and critical thinking. The learning environment is nurturing and promotes the cultivation of global perspectives, self-awareness and intelligent citizenship. The curricula are developed to promote the acquisition of knowledge, skills and attitudes that enable learners to become professionally competent and socially responsible.
The College provides students with a complete set of administrative services and policies that provide for a high-quality College experience. Some of those services include computing resources, Health, counseling, campus safety and security, advising and registration, career, and financial aid resources. An online portal provides a one-stop home for all student support questions and functions. The portal is available 24 hours, seven days per week. The College also has over 8,000 square feet dedicated to provide academic support services designed to help each student attain maximum academic achievement.
