Program areas at People and Pollinators Action Network
Ppan successfully launched a new pollinator habitat fund backed by sales of the Colorado pollinator license plate; this fund provides small grants to community organizations, businesses, governments, schools, farms, tribes, public housing, and other institutions to develop and expand, restore or protect healthy pollinator habitat. On the policy side, we worked on two main areas: 1) on a review and analysis of the pesticide applicators act (paa) and 2) on the scope of the new pollinating insects study-a bill that ppan championed and helped to pass in 2022. --------------------- continued on schedule o -----------------------
