Top 10 accomplishments1. Pierced the denial among elected officials and the conspiracy of silence among community leaders of the urgency of the civic, policy, and leadership crisis facing portland.2. Channeled the frustrations of the majority of portlanders fed up with lawlessness, homelessness, and inaction from local and state elected officials.3. Put hiring more police, a ban on public camping, recriminalizing hard drugs, and cleaning up trash and graffiti at the top of the local and state political agenda.4. Activated the grassroots majority, building an email and social media following of more than 35,000, delivering more than one million emails to elected officials.5. Ended the defund the police debate and put the need for 350+ more newly trained police officers back on the Portland city hall agenda.6. Placed a bright spotlight (and a few billboards) on the failed policies of da mike schmidt and its failure to combat crime and keep portlanders safe.7. Provided the first and loudest voice calling for more emergency shelters and a citywide ban on public camping.8. Pushed local and state elected officials to recriminalize hard drugs and end open-air drug use and markets on city streets.9. Called out corruption and incompetence of the county-run "joint office of homeless services and drove greater scrutiny of the homeless industrial complex.10. After a decade of dithering and delays, pushed the mayor and city council to approve and fund body cameras on all police officers.
