In 2019, the organization embarked on a small campaign in Vermont to test whether local basing decisions could be used to combat nuclear bombers. They also recruited nearly 8,000 new stampers and had over 22,000 people report found bills on their website through the Stamp Stampede campaign. Stamp stampede:a national movement with over 137,209 members dedicated to legally stamping messages on dollars to protest big money in politics and roadblocks to voting for minorities, students, disabled, and low-income People. - we recruited 1,125 new members- we maintained a bi-monthly newsletter with important public education information about voting rights and campaign finance. - we maintained a website that logged 103,108 reported stamped bill sightings.
The eisenhower media network:an organization of expert former military, intelligence, and civilian national security officials devoted to using earned and social media to educate the public about national defense issues and budget priorities.- we grew our fellows from 8 to 11 and helped generate over 1,300 articles, including interviews with npr, newsweek, politico, the hill, democracy now and other top national outlets.- we helped write and secure a publisher for dennis fritz's book "deadly betrayal: the truth of why we invaded iraq. "- we ran a full-page ad in the new york times promoting peace in eastern europe.- we maintained a website with updated educational information.
Campaign to end qualified immunity 2023:the campaign to end qualified immunity is a public education campaign designed to lift up stories of People who have been harmed by public servants and denied justice because of the legal doctrine of qualified immunity. - we maintained a coalition of more than two dozen national advocacy groups that includes running monthly coalition calls and managing a national listserv. - we planned and participated in public education events in new york, Massachusetts - organized national congressional briefing on qualified immunity
Assange defense:comprising human rights defenders, press freedom advocates, civil liberties lawyers, and supporters across the united states, assange defense organizes public rallies, provides educational resources, and raises awareness about the unprecedented prosecution against julian assange and the threat it poses to the freedom of the press in the u.s.- we produce public educational materials about press freedom for social media and website. - we helped organize and support over a 100 events nationwide including distributed events on world press freedom day and independence day. - we ran online public education ads about press freedom in the united states.
