N*gen (next generation tv) is africas first science tv show for kids. Filmed across kenya, nigeria, tanzania, south africa and uganda, its goals are to elevate girls and women. Increase trust in science and scientists, and help give people the critical thinking tools to fight misinformation. The show has been syndicated to 45+ tv networks accross africa and through broadcast and streaming platforms in us and western markets.
Village video is a solar powered, micro mobile cinema in a suitcase that can be deployed to off-grid communities in remote areas. In 2023, pvi worked with researchers at lehigh university to deploy village video in sierra leone, educating community members about maternal mortality through their mothers of sierra leone cinema project. Pvi built new units of the village video to make available to partners further afield.
Television series produced in partnership your rights activity. The series is identifying and advocating for the removal of specific constraints within the enabling enviroment for media and digital technology.
PVI Partners to create custom media services to other ngos and mission driven organizations, including broadcast audio and video projects gamified narratives delivered through basic telephony, mobile cinema services and hardware, and on the ground distribution of media projects.
