Person County Group Homes

Pcgh provides services for individuals with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injury. Services include: two licensed intermediate care facilities, one independent living program, two adult day-care facilities, one adult day service facility and six licensed supported living facilities. These services provide the care and support needed to enhance the lives of these individuals and promote independence and community inclusion. 24-hour supervision is provided in the licensed residential facilities. The individuals served in the programs are integrated into existing services in the community. This may include jobs at local businesses or a specialized program to address individual vocational needs. Pcgh also offers affordable housing for those with mental or physical handicaps through an apartment complex for those 65 and older, and a complex supported through key funding for residents with mental or physical handicaps.
