For the year ended March 31, 2024, Pet Over Population Prevention operated the following programs:Spay and Neuter ClinicPet Over Population Prevention (POPP) provides spay/neuter veterinary procedures and vaccines to pets surrendered into POPPs adoption programs, to regional foster and shelter organizations, and to income-qualified individuals and families. POPP also provides these services to feral cats that are trapped, neutered, and released. 2,055 animals were spay/neutered during the year being reported.Foster/Adopt ServicesPOPP provided care for hundreds of animals each year, some of which are housed by volunteers in foster homes until they are adopted. POPP provides all the supplies and medications needed while the pets are in foster care. 462 animals were neutered and spayed at POPP, with 579 POPP animals adopted out during the reporting year.
