Program areas at Phelps County Child Advocacy Networ
A mini golf tournament is co-hosted for Child Abuse awareness month in april. Kids are sponsored through local businesses and other donations.
Healthy baby and beyond is held in an effort To decrease the number of sudden infant death syndrome cases in the County. Different agencies in the state set up informational booths that help educate local families and pregnant women on Child safety issues.
Take a stand against Child Abuse is a fundraiser held across Phelps County in july. Lemonade stands are set up throughout the community by local businesses, families, and agencies. T-shirts featuring the artwork of a local Child are sold prior To the event.
Angel tree, through the generosity of the community and the support of businesses, helps kids from identified families receive christmas gifts.
