Program areas at PCA

The Philadelphia Children's Alliance (pca) is a front-line responder to all reports of alleged child sexual abuse in the city of Philadelphia. Pca promotes healing and justice for sexually abused children. Using a multidisciplinary approach, we collaborate with our partners in child protection, law enforcement, and medical and mental health services to provide forensic interviews, victim support, and counseling services at the Philadelphia safety collaborative, a co-located child-friendly facility. In fy 2023, we served 1,674 referral intake services, 1,197 in- person victim services, 1,018 forensic interviews, and 142 clinical clients.
Pca is the recipient of a federal grant from the office of juvenile justice and delinquency prevention, entitled the northeast regional Children's advocacy center (nrcac). This grant provides funding for pca/nrcac to offer training and technical assistance to existing and developing Children's advocacy centers in nj, pa, ny, ct, ri, ma, nh, vt and me.
