Description
Phoenix Community Farm grows fresh, healthy produce to meet the basic needs of the community. The farm also educates and empowers the community in growing and eating healthy food. In 2022, there were 31 classes and farm experiences that included Headstart field trips, canning, recipe and gardening education. Additionally, Windover High School students received 13 days of farming education. With over 1,000 volunteer hours, staff and volunteers maintain an over 1 acre garden that produced 8,632 pounds of produce during the 2022 growing season.
