Program areas at Piedmont Dispute Resolution Center

Medition, restorative justice, conflict Resolution and restorative practices - pdrc receives referrals from the general district courts of culpeper, fauquier, madison, rappahannock, prince william, spotsylvania, and stafford counties in Virginia. Cases are by staff, volunteers, and independent contractors. Pdrc receives referrals from the juvenille and domestic relations district courts of culpeper, fauquier, madison, rappahannock, prince william, caroline, and stafford counties mediated by staff, volunteers, and independent contractors. Pdrc also recieves referrals for restorative cases from courts, law enforcement, schools, and other sources. These cases are conferenced using volunteer facilitators, community representatives, and staff. Pdrc also receives self referrals in business and family matters such as workplace and divorce and seperation. These cases are mediated by staff and volunteers as well as independent contractors. School systems in northern Virginia area and beyond request training in restorative practices. Trainings are conducted by staff, volunteers, and independent contractors.
