Program areas at Pike Market Senior Center

The Pike Market food bank (pmfb) serves individuals in downtown seattle, supplementing food security for a diverse population of people who live on very little income and/or are unhoused. Pmfb serves people of all ages, but a majority of clients are seniors. The food bank offers groceries (fresh, canned & frozen), ready-to-eat foods for people without access to a kitchen, and deliveries to people who cannot travel to pmfb.
The Pike Market Senior Center offers a range of services to promote healthy aging. Over 90% of the seniors are low-income and around a third are unhoused. Clients can access one-on-one social work assistance and a range of health-promoting and socializing activities, including free breakfast and lunch every day of the week. All these services and activities are offered free of charge.
