In-home Services - To remain living safely in their own homes, many older adults require assistance in performing basic activities of daily living. PCOA's Community Services System In-Home Care for Older Adults and younger persons with disabilities who needed assistance with bathing, laundry, changing bed liners, cleaning their homes and shopping for groceries.
Pimacare at Home - PIMACARE AT HOME provides Personal Care, Respite Care, and Homemaker services (Light Housekeeping, Laundry Assistance and meal preparation) for Pima County residents who are medically eligible for services under ALTCS guidelines. The services are also provided to private pay clients. The level of care and services is based on the needs and desire of the clients.
Meal Programs - PCOA improved the nutritional intake of CNG 76,811 Older Adults through the provision of 992 Well-Balanced prepared meals. These meals were HDM 423,304; Meals served 2,031 clients. served at 13 Pima County Senior lunch sites and delivered to the homes of frail older adults who could no longer safely cook and had difficulties leaving their homes. Home-Delivered meals recipients reported the meal was their main cooked meal of the day.
