Piping Education Council

The primary purpose of the pec is to promote the Mechanical Contracting Industry to users and also to elevate the skills of the contractors and their employees working within that Industry. We do this through:financial support of the certified welding bureau which operates under the asme welding codes to provide a competent group that allows our contractors to jointly develop and share welders and welding procedures in which there are 55 members of the welding bureau. Along with our related organization, mca, we conduct about 60 Education programs per year to increase both technical and business skills. We also offer other skills such as service management, dispatching, leadership and basics for new employees. The long term purpose is to make the contractors more efficient.
