SOVAW: We continued our work on our Stop Digital Voter Suppression project. We distributed our Digital Voter Suppression report to campaigns, The Democratic National Committee, several coalitions that we were and continue to be sharing our data analysis on the ongoing issues around the Stop the Steal campaigns and other disinformation campaigns we've been tracking since 2013.We've updated our data collection by using a new data tool. We've purchased legal scan but intend on adding few additional tools. It's become clear to our team that tools like Crowdtangle and others controlled by the platforms have not been giving us all the data and information we need. Our Stop Digital Voter Suppression project has focused on messages that use digital media to suppress the votes of targeted communities through disinformation campaigns originating from foreign and/or domestic sources. We created an infographic and multiple content-sharing cards to counter disinformation. This is also the year we started having Disinfo Detox conversations with those interested in learning how to identify it and stop it before it spreads. Our AntiWoke Card is one with the most views. We have created a glossary to address falsely used terms like woke. The infographic about the overturning of Roe vs Wade can be found here. httpsstoponlinevawcomjusticealito... We are currently working on our updated CRT report that includes our graphic on the impact on HBCUs particularly those in the southern states like Alabama that have a total abortion ban. The data set includes areas of abortion bans, curriculum restrictions and voter suppression laws. We have worked on a new report on crime stats and mass shootings. And we still remain working on helping women of color who face online violence and harassment during these high-profile moments.
Kinderblast: Obtained their own 501C3 status, and all funds were dispersed to the project.
Bee Audacious: Bee Audacious coordinated the fundraising and installation of the Daniel Stralka Memorial Pollinator Garden at Dominican University of California. Irrigation will be done using rain water catchment off a nearby rooftop that was installed during the summer. Plants, swales and boulders were installed during the fall.
