Designing for the New Norm - Consulting with congregations, pastors, lay leaders and judicatories specifically aimed at smaller, fragile congregations that can no longer afford full time pastoral leadership. With a core grant of $50,000 from one synod, a beta cycle was done for the presbyteries in that synod, then later expanded nationwide. Seminars and coaching served 400+ participants nationwide.

NEXGEN CONSULTING - This program is supported fully by a grant from the Eula Mae and John Baugh Foundation. The program trains and coaches new pastors in areas not normally covered in their seminary educations, including financial literacy, strategic planning, conflict resolution, community assessment, etc.The multi-year grant was received in December 2023 for work beginning in 2024. There were no programs or expenses in 2023, and the grant is being carried over to 2024 as a restricted fund.

Romans 12 Project is designed to address acute conflict within congregations related to the deep theological and political dividing views held by congregants within a single congregation. The terms Purple Church and Purple Pulpit refers to those congregations with a deep red/blue split in this era where politics and religion have become part of identity warfare. Romans 12 Project coaches pastoral leaders in such pulpits and works on specific conflict resolution needs as identified. The original $15,000 was received in late 2022 and expended in 2023.
