Program areas at Poder

PODERs Integrated Skills Career Pathway has significantly enhanced quality of life by promoting racial equity, economic mobility, and community resilience. The program has provided a total of 45 combined online and in- person classes, workforce trainings, one-on-one career readiness coaching with Member Advisors, referrals to wraparound services, digital literacy support, financial coaching, community workshops, and critical connections with on-site partners for mental health services and job placement assistance. Other accomplishments include: 4,988 members connected to resources, 1,436 total program enrollment, 316 resumes created, 75% employment retention rate, $21 avg. placement starting wage. PODER HQ serves as an immigrant integration center, welcoming thousands of adults to access essential services, explore new workforce opportunities, and achieve their potential.
