After the board of directors finalized and paid for the upgrades to thier new community building, they vetted through many potential small businesses owned by poc with an attention on women poc.holy beanz coffe and db desserts were chosen as buinesses to open a brick and morter shop is a historically black neighborhood that has been gentrified and outpriced for most. These actions have helped to scale thier businesses as well as give under market value rent in a very high rent district. Foundation has offered other opportunites for other small businesses such as food carts to operate on their lot.
