In 2023, Policy Matters Ohio released 123 reports, blogs, briefs and publications and generated 658 press hits, ensuring that accurate, compelling research on how state Policy can make Ohio a more inclusive and equitable state was part of the public debate. The organization provided 106 informative presentations to groups across Ohio, and remains active in multiple local, statewide, and national coalitions. Through research and testimony, Policy Matters continued to highlight the need for revenue and an equitable tax code, paying workers a fair wage, the right to form a union, public child care funding, adequate and fair public school funding, and tax credits for families.
