FESTIVALS: The PAFAC hosted 3 seasonal festivals in 2023 in Webster's Woods, the 5-acre Sculpture Park that surrounds the facility. The festivals celebrated the seasons of summer, fall and winter and brought in over 700 people at each one. The PAFAC presented and live music, interactive art stations, and live readings by local authors. The winter festival features the Light Art Experience and a holiday Makers Market in the gallery. The Light Art Experience brought 5,845 visits to the park to enjoy the light-based art installations along the forested paths of Webster's Woods. The Makers Market brought 1,294 visits to the gallery where shoppers found items from local artists and artisans.
YOUTH EDUCATION: The PAFAC hosted field trips to our campus for 511 students ages 5-11. We visited classrooms 30 times to bring art enrichment to local schools for 3 schools and more than 275 students. The culmination of the school year was the display of student artwork in our gallery during the Blooming Artists exhibition. We also hosted two weeks of Nature Art Summer Camp, engaging 102 students in four different Art Camps.
EXHIBITS: The PAFAC hosted 4 gallery exhibits, 2 outdoor "open air" exhibits, and our annual Makers Market. The gallery, gift store, festivals, outdoor sculptures, and Maker's Market activities supported 166 artists and PAFAC contributed $50,897 towards the livelihood of these artists. PAFAC welcomed over 5,000 visits to the gallery throughout the year.
OTHER PROGRAMMING: PAFAC managed a grant from the City of Port Angeles to upgrade the trail through the Websters Woods, a project that totaled $76,639. Other programs include art workshops and evening events hosted at the facility, further connecting people with the arts.
