The museum exhibits individual works of art and Historical treasures relating to the city of Port Arthur and the gulf coast region of Texas. The museum operates a gift shop to support these activities. In 2020, visitors toured the museum and villa and participated in outreach activities, and 2037 hours were donated by volunteers for program operations.
