Portland All Nations Canoe Family

Portland All Nations Canoe Family serves indigenous youth and elders by preserving their culture and protecting the water. Through Seeding Justice's General Fund Grant, they support their mission to promote traditions through canoe culture and protect the environment. They gain experiences during weekly gatherings, while also traveling to an indigenous education conference alongside eight other members of the group hosted by Metro Parks & Nature. At this conference, best practices for protecting land and water were identified and shared in line with the organization's goals.
