Program areas at Portland Piano International

In fiscal year 2023, Portland Piano International (ppi) was happy to complement our season of performances at lincoln hall on the Portland state university campus with a three performance series the patricia reser center for the arts in beaverton (suburban Portland). As we have completed a full post-pandemic season, we are enjoying increasing audience sizes. Our artistic direction for the series came from vladimir feltzman, as our guest artistic curator.continued on schedule o.in the presentations of our regular six pairs of recitals by widely recognized great classical pianists, we had approximately 90% of ticket sales, compared to an average of the prior five years (excepting the covid years, of course.) In fiscal year 2024, in addition to performances at psu's lincoln hall, the "reser" presentations are being continued as a full season of five performances, with one special recital at lewis and clark college to round out the season of twelve performances by six artists.in fiscal year 2023, we also continued our unique program of teacher training and professional development for mid-career Piano teachers from throughout Oregon, the tholen fellowship.
