Portland Ultimate

Organized 14 adult leagues in the Portland metro area, serving both experienced and novice players; providing year round opportunities to develop skills and grow the Portland ulitmate community. Working with leagues to instill sportspersonship at all levels of play and maintain respect for the spirit of the game. Organized 3 adult tournaments during 2023, providing a competitive form for teams througout orgon, other western states.

Offered seasonal leagues to elementary, middle school, and high school aged players. Ran multiple summer camps, and hosted a youth tournament. Expenses include the bulk of the employee cost for 2023. Employees are tasked with growing the youth programming, providing coaching at the youth events, teaching Ultimate during clinics that were either held for free, or in partnership with local schools. Ultimate provides a wonderful opportunity to teach leadership skills, conflict resolution and mutual respect, and as such our focus is on continuing to grow our youth programming and develop coaches within our adult community.
