Program areas at Potomac Village Garden Club
Creation restoration and maintenance of the Potomac library gardens: pvgc ensures that our residents engage with nature by providing award-winning Garden experiences ranging from the peter rabbit Garden for children to a comfortable place to read outdoors and varied inspirations to incorporate plants into their own yards.
Community engagement: pvgc conducts various activities that engage our community to appreciate and incorporate gardening and the outdoor environment into their lives. Our plant sale enables individuals to get both plants and local gardening advice. Our winter arrangements sale puts botanical inspiration on holiday tables.
Educational programs: pvgc arranges expert speakers for our members and others to enhance gardening ability across our community. Our annual even for children engage them in activities to learn and like plants.
The plan sale and winter arrangements engage our members and our community in learning gardening and enjoying plants.
Member dues and generous member donations support events with expert speakers on gardening topics as well as enable pvgc to create and maintain gardens and conduct educational events at our local public library.
Interest on savings contributes to pvgc's ability to provide the ongoing support for the library gardens and to conduct educational events for children and adults.
