General Operations & Projects - Grants made to foster charitable services and efforts to serve eleven thousand people of the scavenger community in the garbage dump of Guatemala City and other cities in Guatemala. It includes assistance for those in vulnerable circumstances, especially the children and elderly; development for the individuals, families, and community leaders; empowerment for community leaders and entrepreneurs.
Education - Grants made to foster education among the children of the scavenger population of Guatemala City and other cities in Guatemala. It includes tutoring for elementary school children, tutoring program for junior high and high school students, and support for college students. This also includes school supplies, special training, and parentsientation.
Community Support - Grants made to foster community support among scavenger population in Guatemala City and other cities in Guatemala. It includes nutrition services, like meals, snacks, food, and staples; relief in case of emergencies, such as accidents, sickness, fatalities, mudslides, collapses; community projects like house construction and house improvements.
Other - Grants made to foster charitable services among the scavenger population in Guatemala City and other cities in Guatemala. It includes Christian faith advancement, instillment of family values, combating community deterioration and juvenile delinquency, lessening neighborhood tensions, and eliminating prejudices and discrimination.
