Program areas at Powell Gardens
Horticulture: oversees and manages approximately 100 acres of interpretive displays, demonstration Gardens and native plant landscapes for viewing and photographing.
Education: offers programs and seminars to the community on horticulture, gardening and other environmental issues. Programs are available for children and adults at all levels, from beginner to expert.
Visitors' center services: provides visitor services such as two cafes, restrooms and a gift shop. The visitors' center is also home to the educational classrooms and a large multi-purpose room, which is utilized for educational programs and rental purposes. The conservatory and terrace Gardens make up the horticultural component of this building complex. There is also a barn and silo with an observation deck to observe the garden and landscape design.
