The Power of Preservation Foundation champions education on historic preservation and rehabilitation, using the STAR Program to partner with UTSA and San Antonio College students, as well as the City of San Antonio Office of Historic Preservation. Each year, this program repairs and maintains the exterior of historic homes. The foundation also educates the community on the importance of preserving and rehabilitating historic structures in San Antonio, including through their Kelso House Learning Lab which serves citizens at large and students from UTSA.

Program areas at Power of Preservation Foundation

Educating community on value of preservation and rehabilitation of historic structures in San Antonio including the Kelso House Learning Lab serving citizens at large and students from UTSA.
S.T.A.R. Program brings together UTSA and San Antonio College students in partnership with the City of San Antonio Office of Historic Preservation annually to repair and maintain the exterior of historic homes.
REHABARAMA brings volunteers, students, contractors, and community members together to rehabilitate historic homes at no cost to homeowners.
