Program areas at Pregnancy Resource Center
Medical Services: We had 1,446 patient appointments in 2023. All services were free with the exception of a nominal fee for STD tests. These services included counseling women in crisis pregnancy situtations, providing 427 pregnancy tests, performing 498 ultrasounds, providing pre-natal care instructions to expectant mothers, and providing 532 tests for sexually transmitted infections.
Family Support Services: We had approximately 3,700 contacts with clients in 2023. These services included counseling mothers and providing more than 120,000 material items to the economically disadvantaged including diapers, formula, cribs, baby clothing, etc.
Sexual Risk Avoidance Education: Our sexual risk avoidance curriculum, Willing to Wait, was taught to 8,626 students at 86 local schools and organizations in 2023. 62% of those students pledged they are willing to wait until marriage. In addition, we presented our biblically-based multimedia program, The Whole Sex Talk , to local churches and community members.
