Located in Northeast Pennsylvania, the Pregnancy Resource Center of the Poconos' mission is to honor God by sharing the hope of Jesus Christ and affirming the sanctity of every human life with people in the Pocono area. The Center helps pregnant women who are in crisis to understand and work through the alternatives, enabling her to make an informed decision concerning the outcome of her pregnancy. Programs offered include - peer counseling, parenting education, fatherhood preparation, life counseling and material distribution. For 2023, the Center served 76 clients by providing 392 counseling sessions. The Center also provided assistance in the form of baby food, clothing for babies and mothers, car seats and other necessities.
