Reduce Tobacco Use Conference expenses related to approximately 300 participants over a 2-day period. Conference registration fees paid by participants/exhibitors were $43,570 and sponsorships totaled $46,000.

A regional Appalachian Opioid Abuse Summit was convened to engage participants in large and small group discussions and activities focused on (i) achieving strategies for alignment of best practices and resources designed to reduce family involvement in the child welfare system, improve intervention treatment options and identify alternatives to incarceration; (ii) engaging in discussions and peer-to-peer information exchange that advances greater collaboration across systems and a shared vision, knowledge and understanding across state borders, and (iii) identifying technical assistance needs and develop action plans to improve capacity and sustainable practice in participants' respective jurisdictions.
