Program areas at Pride Wma

Helicopter surveyed and sprayed noxious weeds on rivers and creeks in Box Butte Dawes Deuel Garden Sheridan and Sioux counties. UTV and ATV sprayers were also used along riparian areas in the same counties. Hundreds of acres of non-native invasive weeds were controlled which will improve the native vegetation and improve access to the water ways for wildlife and recreation.
Herbicide was purchased from Van Diest Supply Company for the helicopter ATV and UTV to complete control projects.
The Weed Watch publication: A 12 page publication that is produced Spring and Fall each year. Dedicated completely to noxious and invasive plant information identification prevention control etc. 99,850 copies were delivered in more than 40 Nebraska counties.
