Program areas at Pro Mujer
FINANCIAL SERVICES - Since 1990, Pro Mujer has promoted financial inclusion among women who lack access to traditional financial institutions. Services include savings, loans, and insurance, with a focus on new products and knowledge sharing in gender and impact investing. To date, Pro Mujer has disbursed over $4.4 billion dollars in small loans and investment to women in Latin America. (SEE SCHEDULE O)
Health and Well-being - Pro Mujer provides access to low-cost, high-quality health services, including preventive health education, cancer screenings, lab tests, ultrasounds and dental care, in neighborhoods where women live and work. Furthermore, Pro Mujer works to prevent gender-based violence through holistic services that support women in vulnerable situations. To date, Pro Mujer has provided over 10 million health interventions thanks to generous contributions of philanthropic capital. (SEE SCHEDULE O)
Entrepreneurship and Skilling - Pro Mujer facilitates the empowerment of women through programs that provide opportunities to strengthen skills in financial management, business planning, digital skills, and leadership. Pro Mujer is building a one-stop platform for women's economic empowerment in Latin America, leveraging philanthropic capital, technology, and partnerships to have regional impact. (SEE SCHEDULE O)
