Program areas at Pro Players Foundation
Kids in Need (KIN) is a comprehensive program operated under PPF, with the goal of addressing the diverse needs of youth in the DFW area. From offering support services like serving meals at baseball camps to providing crucial finanial aid to families with children in life-threatening circumstances, the KIN program is dedicated to benefiting children in every possible way.
Big Bike Build program champions the physical and mental growth of young individuals by providing them with bikes built by our corporate collaborators and community advocates during an engaging festival-style event. Through this initiative, we aim to foster holistic development among youth by promoting physical activity and offering opportunities for social interaction and skill-building.
Instant RePlay entails the construction of new sports facilities or the transformation of existing ones into vibrant spaces at our nonprofit partners sites. These initiatives not only offer children a safe environment to engage in recreational activities and personal development but also serve as focal points of hope and community pride. The revitalization efforts result in heightened interest and participation in sports programs, subsequently fostering greater engagement in educational and mentoring initiatives.
Gameplan is a STEM/STEAM-focused initiative dedicated to enhancing the lives of disadvantaged populations by providing access to technology and educational resources that would otherwise be inaccessible. This program undertakes the construction and renovation of computer and learing labs, the implementation of STEM-based software, and the creation of Makerspaces at various nonprofit partner locations. Through these efforts, Gameplan aims to foster technological proficiency and educational advancement within underserved communities.
