Pro Seniors empowers and protects older adults while facilitating access to resources. The Ohio Medicare Patrol team members educated over 26,000 seniors in 311 outreach events, while SMP volunteers provided over 182 hours of service. Program areas at Pro Seniors

The agency's legal program assisted more than 7,700 clients with more than 8,500 legal matters, including providing legal advice and representation regarding health issues, public benefits, consumer issues, housing, foreclosure prevention and pensions. This program utilized $19,862.11 of donated services.
The agency's Ohio Medicare Patrol (SMP) team members participated in more than 380 group outreach and education events, reaching more than 29,000 individuals. Volunteers for SMP provided over 182 hours of service to educate seniors about taking an active role in the detection, prevention and reporting of health care errors, fraud and abuse. This program utilized $7,345.88 of donated services.
Agency long-term care ombudsmen helped more than 11,000 individuals with issues and problems related to long-term care, including care plans, abuse, restraints, lost or stolen belongings, quality of care, misappropriation of funds, transfers and discharges, and long-term care facility selection. This program utilized $33,604.84 of donated services
