Program areas at Progressnow New Mexico Education Fund

The organization had a successful year with educational campaigns on reproductive justice, environmental justice, voting rights, and disinformation defense. We continued to educate the public about what reproductive health decisions at the scotus level meant for New mexicans and provided communications support for reproductive healthcare partners. In environmental justice we partnered with other environmental partners to continue Education on the harmful effects of bringing hydrogen to our state and the role the oil and gas industry has in New Mexico politics. We provided public Education leading up to the november 2023 election on ways that New mexicans can vote ranging from early vote timelines, to polling locations, to how to register to vote if they aren't already. Lastly, we monitored digital disinformation threats and developed plans to counteract that harmful, incorrect information.
