Project Freedom Carolinas was formed to address a critical unmet need for children and youth rescued from sex trafficking and sexual exploitation, including young mothers, by partnering across our community to raise awareness on the immediate critical needs and to create an emergent care solution that addresses comprehensive care including immediate medical, therapeutic, and emotional needs of these young survivors. These rescued children are often unable to return home and need a safe place to stabilize and begin healing.

Program areas at Project Freedom Carolinas

Rescued children are often unable to return home and need a safe place to stabilize and begin healing. An emergent care solution must be created to address comprehensive care including immediate medical, therapeutic, and emotional needs of these young survivors. This level of emergent care is not currently available in the Carolinas. Project Freedom will partner across a community comprehensive care eco-system to create this new model of care, giving each rescued child the opportunity to begin healing in a healthy environment.
