Program areas at Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing

Regional programs: we hold regularly scheduled classes in our 180 programs located across the country serving disabled active military service personnel disabled veterans. During the classes, volunteers provide five core elements of instruction including Fly tying, Fly rod building, Fly Fishing education, Fly casting and outings. Volunteers patiently instruct participants who are working through a variety of disabilities from dexterity and mobility issues to mental and emotional issues stemming from traumatic brain injuries and post traumatic stress.
National programs: phwff has three national programs; national training program, national competitors program and national destinations program.
