Program areas at Project Music

Project Music has experienced significant growth by quadrupling the size of our program, expanding to reach over 125 students across four different locations, including three schools and a community center. In addition, we launched our learn & earn program, a workforce development initiative that offers in-program job training and compensation to eligible student leaders who have maintained a 3.0 gpa and been part of Project Music for two years. Our student leaders performed in 20+ concerts across the stamford community.as part of our whole-child model, we've made some changes to our programming, such as providing transportation to our king site, introducing meal-replacement snacks, and making academic tutoring available to every Project Music student. Our advanced students have also had the opportunity to attend intensive musical camps across Michigan, new york, Connecticut, and Maine, and four students have qualified for travel abroad to spain and portugal.finally, we've expanded our community partnerships, now totaling over 25 different partnerships that enable our work and help us serve the community. Students enrolled in our program hail from 26 different schools across fairfield county.
