Description
Project Oceanology's waterfront location is adjacent to a diverse variety of marine habitats and offers hands-on learning opportunities for any age. Our school programs for students in grades 4 through 12, scout programs and summer enrichment overnight and day camps feature an inquiry oriented approach to science. The lighthouse expeditions, oceanographic research cruises and seal watches are unique educational outings for families. We are located at the University of Connecticut's Avery Point Campus in Groton, Connecticut.

Year-round marine science education and exploration for diverse population of students throughout New England, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania since 1972. The school year programs for local school districts and grant based CT river Connections serve the science needs for the academic year. All programs either on shore or in classrooms.
