Program areas at Project Pink'd
Pink'd helping hand program: provides financial assistance with everyday necessities to underserved breast cancer survivors, within one year of treatment, including but not limited to, assistance with rent or mortgage payments, medical expenses, insurance premiums, childcare expenses, gas or bus cards for transportation, grocery cards and thanksgiving meals (care to share program). The total number of survivors impacted through this program and its subprograms in 2023 was 945.
Pink'd comfort & care program: helps survivors feel beautiful again and assists survivors with products often times not covered by any insurance including, but not limited to, lymphedema products, wigs/scarves/caps, healing hearts survivor kits, postmastectomy bras, surgical camisoles, and breast forms. The total number of survivors impacted through this program and its subprograms in 2023 was 1752.
Pink'd renewal program: helps survivors move beyond their diagnosis and live their best life. We equip survivors with the tools to focus on emotional and physical wellbeing including, but not limited to counseling sessions, complementary holistic programs, wellness programs (yoga, lymphedema, renewal retreat, nutrition classes (chef's table program), and survivor outreach. The total number of survivors impacted through this program and its subprograms in 2023 was 9775.
